If you're looking for a versatile top, check out the Salto pattern! You can make this pattern in any kind of fabric and wear it for any occasion. You can choose a version with or without buttons, so that you can play with prints, nice buttons, etc. without any problems. The perfect finish of the wide straps also makes it possible to use airy fabrics without the need for a lining.
The pattern goes from size 34 to 52.
This is an English paper pattern. You will receive a radar sheet and work description in English.
The seam allowances are included in the pattern pieces.
Supplies
- Fabric (width 140 cm): 80 cm for sizes 34 to 38 - 90 cm for sizes 40 to 46 - 105 cm for sizes 48 to 52
- Ironable interlining (eg G785): 65 cm
- 7 buttons with a diameter of 10 to 12 mm
- Matching sewing thread
Fabric advice
Choose supple and comfortable fabrics such as cotton poplin or viscose, soft jacquard, viscose crepe, twill, tencel, but also lace or English embroidery. To make the straps easier, choose fabrics that are easy to iron.
Weight of the fabric between about 80 and 200 g/m².
Difficulty: average. The technical point is attaching the wide straps to the bodice.
